Scatter Point

This episode starts where episode 16 ended. On a Wednesday with Michael and Fiona watching Carla’s post office box. Michael just got a whole 5 minutes of down time. This was filmed on Collins Ave. at 74th Street.

An older woman picks up Carla’s mail and Michael and Fiona follow her. We next see them headed west on NE 29th Street.

They trail the woman back to Carla’s office. 2886 Biscayne Blvd., Miami.

Then we go to where Sam meets Michael in a little ocean side park. This was filmed at the park on Collins Ave between 72 and 73rd Street in Miami Beach.

On the north side of this park is where we were introduced to Ivan in episode 16, Comrades.

Next we see Michael back at his place where we meet the new client Trevor. This was filmed on the set at the rear of the studio.

Next we meet Timo and his crew. This is suppose to be in the Keys. Location unknown.

Next, Michael tries to stop the heist by getting Gilbert, the safe cracker arrested. This was filmed in the Miami design district. NE 39th Street and NE 1st Ct.

Then we go back to Collins and 72nd Street for Michael to meet with the Client.

Then we see Michael putting a camera atop the building across from Carla’s office. I realized quickly that he was not where he said he was but I had to do some detailed study and searching to find the correct roof top. They filmed this 2 blocks south on the roof of 2700 Biscayne Blvd., Granite Transformations.

Blue arrow points to where Michael hangs off the roof.

Black arrow points to where Michael placed camera that would point to the north.

Then we go back to Michael’s place (set) where Sam has found a weakness in Carla’s security.

From there Sam goes out to a romantic dinner with Veronica and gets in deep. I recognized where this was filmed because it is a repeat location from the Pilot, where it was used as Michael’s bank. Alfred I DuPont Building, 169 Flagler St. Miami.

Next we go back to Michael’s place (studio set).

Then we see Michael in with the bad guys. When we first see him he is riding northbound on NE 2nd Ave in Miami passing Ziggy Furniture at NE 59th Street.

Then we see him a few blocks south headed west away from NE 2nd Ave. on NE 54th Street from NE 1st Ct.

Next we see them northbound again on NE 2nd Ave. Now passing NE 59th Terrace.

They show this store at 5969 NE 2nd Ave. And then pull over and stop opposite the store on NE 60th Street.

They enter this store (below). Where the white van is parked in the picture below is where they parked to go into the store.

After Michael passes the test we see the gang inside a shed for a planning meeting. This looks like a set at the studio to me.

Then we go to Michael’s at the rear of the studio.

From there we go to the place of the heist. This was filmed in the 150 block of NE 1st Street in downtown Miami.

Then we go to Carla’s office building for an aborted attempt by Michael to get inside.

Then we go back to the bad guy’s shed on the water. Looks like an easy place to find but I have not come up with it yet.

The name of the boat in the background is The Ghost.

Then we go to where the job is at the Alfred I DuPont building in downtown Miami. Note the metrorail in the background.

Any questions as to where this was filmed would be answered by the screen capture below.

Sam triggers the alarm and the crew scatters. It all makes sense except for Timo’s get away car. It would take him a long time to walk the 9.3 miles to where it was stashed on 72nd Street by Abbott Ct. on Miami Beach.

They all meet back at the shed where they are met with a nice explosion.

Then we see Timo back on Miami Beach at 74th Street by Ocean Terrace. Behind what was the location of the Blue Waters Hotel.

Timo, the problem is removed.

Then we go to Michael’s place (set) before going to Carla’s office. Here Michael finds it cleaned out because he blew it. Aborting the first attempt to late allowed Carla to get on to him and she is gone.
