After getting his supplies, Michael returns home and takes care of his Sugar problem. Where he cuts into the wall at the rear and then burst thru the drywall is in real life a doorway. They have dressed it up here to look like an industrial wall but it is actually a double-wide doorway that he burst thru.

Michael stays away from the action at the top of the stairs and Sam heads down to plant the bug.

In the picture below the red dot is where Michael was standing.  The light blue spot is where Pyne had his Bentley parked. The yellow spot is where Fiona comes out.

Next they go to a high rise condo to listen in on Pyne. The high rise is the same building that we saw Sam and Michael meeting by the pool earlier. The condo complex is at 400 Alton Road at the south tip of Sobe. The Murano Grande Condos.

In the capture below you can see the Shell gas station on 5th Street at Jefferson Ave designated by the red arrow. One of several landmarks that helped identify the location.

The next scene is the first time we see Michael's mother's home. The location makes sense based on their earlier trip to the doctor's. She lives on Maynard's Island, at the intersection of NW 9th Court and NW North River Drive. 947 NW North River Drive in Miami.

Michael learns that Pyne is planning to kidnap Javier's boy to gain advantage and Michael quickly develops a plan to stop them.

DanJ stands in for Michael in the pictures below.

NW 9th Court at NW North River Drive.

Michael car-jacks an old Camaro and heads for Javier's house. Only in real life Javier's house is only about 100 yard's north of Madeline's and Michael takes off the long way around the neighborhood.

The crash occurs on N.W. 9th Ave. at N.W. 7th Street Road right in front of Javier's house. The light blue arrow points at Javier's house.

Michael runs into Javier's house and takes David out. He brings him to Michael's new apartment which we have already learned is just down the street.

The purple/pink arrow points to Michael's place.

Next we go to where Sam is informing on Michael to the FBI and Michael bust in on their meeting. As you watch this scene you may notice that they did not pay much attention to the placement and movement of the extras in the background as the cuts were spliced together the people in the background jump around in unrealistic ways. For example the two guys approaching and passing the restaurant as Sam enters (capture below) pass the cafe again before being seen at the hostess station inside the door. Then moments later they are seen approaching the cafe again and walking in toward the hostess station before then being seen being led to a table.

For this scene we return to Lincoln Road Mall, 546 Lincoln Road Mall and what is currently a Guess clothing store. Directly across the mall is where the phone vendor was and across the street is Sushi Samba Dromo where Fiona and Michael had dinner. All three scenes were filmed within about 100 feet of each other. The location where we see Sam meeting the feds was originally a Cadillac Dealership.

Remember back to the phone vendor and the sign on the building in the background that read: HEAR MUSIC.  We see that same sign in the background as Michael talks with the FBI agents in the restaurant.  Look at the top middle of the screen capture and picture above.

Next we see Michael return to Javier's house to prepare for Pyne + Vincent. He sets up the house including attaching a nice looking contraption to a revolver loaded with blanks, only this contraption would do nothing like fire the gun in real life.

After dealing with Vincent and Mr. Pyne, Michael meets up with Javier on the beach. This takes place on South Beach at South Beach Park near 3rd Street.

From the beach Michael heads over to a park called Pine Heights Park near Cedars Medical Center. He sees David stand up to the bullies and win. Thanks to DanJ for sussing out this location. The park is located at the intersection of N.W. 15th Street and N.W. 8th Ave. in Miami.

In the picture above the yellow spot is where we see David. The blue is the agents car and the red spot is where we first see Michael.

Michael's first case is completed. He returns home to his apartment to find that someone has broken in and left him a message. He has been closely watched since arriving in Miami and its not by the FBI agents. This ends the pilot that started the series.

Then two cuts that are too tight to determine where they were filmed.

Then he meets up with Sam at Bay Front Park in downtown Miami. The first view shows the park and bay behind Sam.

Michael burst thru this door in the rear of Sugar’s apartment

You may recognize Michael’s loft from the movie All About The Benjamins where it was Bucum’s pad.

First we see him leave, westbound on NW North River Drive.

He goes east on N.W. North River Drive and passes Vincent as he is stopped on N.W. 7 Street at N.W. North River Drive.

Then 2 cuts, unknown location.

Then eastbound on NW 11th Street passing NW 10th Ave.

Then two cuts that are too tight to determine their location. Locations unknown.

Then we see them take a sharp right turn from NW 11th Street onto NW 11th Court.

Then westbound on NW North River Drive toward NW 10th Ave.

Michael’s route

Then a short cut, location unknown.

Then it jumps back to NW 11th Court, southbound onto NW North River Drive.

Then location unknown.

Then eastbound again on NW North River Drive past where we just saw him drive by Vincent.

Then we see Vincent arrive northbound on NW 9th Avenue opposite Javier’s house.

Where Michael crashes the stolen Camaro into Vincent’s car.
